विघ्नं न जायते क्वापि एवमाह पितामहः । पञ्चमीं तु ततः प्राप्य ब्राह्मणे तिलदा तु या
vighnaṃ na jāyate kvāpi evamāha pitāmahaḥ | pañcamīṃ tu tataḥ prāpya brāhmaṇe tiladā tu yā
എവിടെയും വിഘ്നം ജനിക്കുകയില്ല—എന്ന് പിതാമഹൻ പറഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് പഞ്ചമിയിൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണന് എള്ള് ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൾ ആ പുണ്യഫലത്തിന് അർഹയാകുന്നു.
