कावेर्याः सङ्गमे विप्राः स्थिता पञ्चशती तथा । तीर्थानां पर्वसु तथा विशेषो मुनिनोदितः
kāveryāḥ saṅgame viprāḥ sthitā pañcaśatī tathā | tīrthānāṃ parvasu tathā viśeṣo muninoditaḥ
ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, കാവേരിയുടെ സംഗമത്തിൽ അഞ്ചുനൂറ് തീർത്ഥങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്. അതുപോലെ പർവ്വദിനങ്ങളിലും പുണ്യകാലങ്ങളിലും തീർത്ഥങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രത്യേക മഹിമയുണ്ടെന്ന് മുനി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
