A sage (muni), per the adhyāya’s narrative enumeration
Tirtha: Bhīmeśvara (3), Svarṇa-tīrtha (3), Dhautapāpa (2), Karañjeśa (2)
Type: kshetra
Listener: audience of sages/seekers
Scene: Four grouped motifs: three Bhīmeśvara temples with protective aura; three Svarṇa-tīrthas shimmering like golden water; two Dhautapāpa ghats where pilgrims bathe with folded hands; two Karañjeśa shrines under karañja trees with hanging lamps.
Pilgrimage is portrayed as ethical purification: certain tīrthas are celebrated specifically for cleansing pāpa and renewing dharmic life.
Bhīmeśvara, Svarṇatīrtha, Dhautapāpa, and Karañjeśa sites enumerated within Revā Khaṇḍa.
No explicit injunction; the names (especially Dhautapāpa) strongly imply snāna and Śiva worship for purification.
