संवत्सरकृतात्पुण्यात्स बहिर्भवति श्रुतिः । तस्मात्सर्वप्रयत्नेन तीर्थं सर्वगुणान्वितम्
saṃvatsarakṛtātpuṇyātsa bahirbhavati śrutiḥ | tasmātsarvaprayatnena tīrthaṃ sarvaguṇānvitam
“ശ്രുതി-പരമ്പര പറയുന്നു—അവൻ വർഷം മുഴുവൻ സമ്പാദിച്ച പുണ്യഫലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താകുന്നു. അതിനാൽ എല്ലാ ശ്രമത്തോടെയും സർവഗുണസമ്പന്നമായ തീർത്ഥത്തെ ആശ്രയിക്കണം.”
