नारायण उवाच । नारायणगिरा देवि विज्ञप्तोऽस्मि यतस्त्वया । नारायणगिरिर्नाम तेन मेऽत्र भविष्यति
nārāyaṇa uvāca | nārāyaṇagirā devi vijñapto'smi yatastvayā | nārāyaṇagirirnāma tena me'tra bhaviṣyati
നാരായണൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദേവീ! നീ ‘നാരായണ’ നാമോച്ചാരത്തോടെ എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനാൽ, ഇവിടെ എന്റെ നാമധേയമായ ‘നാരായണഗിരി’ എന്ന പുണ്യപർവ്വതം ഉണ്ടാകും.
