etajjñātvā na santāpastvayā kāryo hi māṃ prati | upakārāya jagatāmavatīrṇo'smi vāsava

ഇത് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് എന്നോടു നീ ദുഃഖമോ ഖേദമോ കാണിക്കരുത്; ഹേ വാസവാ, ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ഉപകാരത്തിനായി ഞാൻ അവതരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
