इत्युक्तो दैवतैर्देवो ह्युवाच किमुपस्थितम् । कार्यं वदध्वं मे देवा यत्कृत्यं मा चिरं कृथाः
ityukto daivatairdevo hyuvāca kimupasthitam | kāryaṃ vadadhvaṃ me devā yatkṛtyaṃ mā ciraṃ kṛthāḥ
ദേവന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഭഗവാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—“എന്താണ് സംഭവിച്ചത്? ഹേ ദേവന്മാരേ, എനിക്ക് ചെയ്യേണ്ട കാര്യം പറയുക; ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിനെ പറയുന്നതിൽ വൈകിക്കരുത്.”
