pāvanāya jagaddhetoḥ sthito yasmācchaśiprabhaḥ | atastu nṛpaśārdūla śveta ityābhidhīyate

ജഗദ്ധേതുവായ പ്രഭുവിന്റെ പാവനാർത്ഥം അവൻ അവിടെ ചന്ദ്രപ്രഭപോലെ ദീപ്തിയായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; അതിനാൽ, ഹേ നൃപശാർദൂല, അവൻ ‘ശ്വേത’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
