samagrā sā bhṛgukṣetre siddhakṣetre tu saṃsthitā | cāmuṇḍā tatra sā devī siddhakṣetre vyavasthitā
Narrator (contextual; immediately followed by Garuḍa’s hymn)
Tirtha: Bhṛgukṣetra (as Siddhakṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: King (nṛpa)
Scene: A sacred map-like tableau: the river Revā near Bhṛgukṣetra, with a shrine marking Siddhakṣetra; Cāmuṇḍā stands or is enthroned, signifying ‘complete power’ anchored to the land.
The Goddess is not abstract alone—she is also locally present in a consecrated tīrtha, making place-based devotion spiritually potent.
Siddhakṣetra (also identified with Bhṛgukṣetra) is praised as the locus of Cāmuṇḍā’s abiding presence.
No explicit rite is stated here; the verse establishes the deity’s residence, preparing the ground for praise and worship.
