धौतपापं तु तत्तेन नाम्ना लोकेषु विश्रुतम् । तत्र स्थितो महादेवस्तुष्ट्यर्थं भृगुसत्तमे
dhautapāpaṃ tu tattena nāmnā lokeṣu viśrutam | tatra sthito mahādevastuṣṭyarthaṃ bhṛgusattame
അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അത് ലോകങ്ങളിൽ ‘ധൗതപാപം’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. അവിടെ ഭൃഗുശ്രേഷ്ഠന്റെ തൃപ്തി (അനുഗ്രഹം)ക്കായി മഹാദേവൻ വസിക്കുന്നു.
