ईश्वर उवाच । किं तेऽद्य क्रियतां ब्रूहि वरदोऽहं द्विजोत्तम । अदेयमपि दास्यामि एकचित्तस्य ते ध्रुवम्
īśvara uvāca | kiṃ te'dya kriyatāṃ brūhi varado'haṃ dvijottama | adeyamapi dāsyāmi ekacittasya te dhruvam
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ! ഇന്ന് നിനക്കായി എന്ത് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതെന്ന് പറയുക. ഞാൻ വരദാതാവാണ്; നിന്റെ ഏകാഗ്രചിത്തത്വം കൊണ്ടു സാധാരണയായി അദേയമായതും നിശ്ചയമായി നിനക്കു ദാനം ചെയ്യും.
