तृप्तास्ते द्वादशाब्दानि सिद्धिं च सार्वकामिकीम् । गङ्गावहे तु यः श्राद्धं शङ्खोद्धारे प्रदास्यति
tṛptāste dvādaśābdāni siddhiṃ ca sārvakāmikīm | gaṅgāvahe tu yaḥ śrāddhaṃ śaṅkhoddhāre pradāsyati
പിതൃകൾ പന്ത്രണ്ടു വർഷം തൃപ്തരായി ഇരിക്കും; ഉപാസകനു സർവകാമസിദ്ധിയും ലഭിക്കും; ഗംഗാപ്രവാഹത്തിൽ ശംഖോദ്ധാരത്തിൽ ശ്രാദ്ധം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ ഈ ഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।
