सामैकं सामवेदे तु जपेद्देवाग्रसंस्थितः । सम्यग्वेदफलं तस्य भवेद्वै नात्र संशयः
sāmaikaṃ sāmavede tu japeddevāgrasaṃsthitaḥ | samyagvedaphalaṃ tasya bhavedvai nātra saṃśayaḥ
സാമവേദത്തിലെ ഒരു സാമം, ദേവാഗ്രസ്ഥാനത്ത് (പരമദേവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ) നിലകൊണ്ട് ജപിക്കണം; അവന് വേദത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണഫലം ലഭിക്കും—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
