तस्य तुष्टो महादेवो ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मर्षिभिः सह । सखित्वं चेश्वरो दत्त्वा धनदत्वं जगाम ह

tasya tuṣṭo mahādevo brahmā brahmarṣibhiḥ saha | sakhitvaṃ ceśvaro dattvā dhanadatvaṃ jagāma ha

അവനിൽ പ്രസന്നനായ മഹാദേവനും, ബ്രഹ്മർഷികളോടുകൂടിയ ബ്രഹ്മാവും, ഈശ്വരസഖ്യം ദാനം ചെയ്തു; അവൻ ‘ധനദ’—ധനാധിപതി—പദം പ്രാപിച്ചു।
