saptamyāmupavāsena taddine cāpyupoṣite | sa tatphalamavāpnoti tatra snātvā na saṃśayaḥ

സപ്തമിദിനത്തിൽ ഉപവാസം ചെയ്ത് ആ ദിവസം വ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവൻ, അവിടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് സംശയമില്ലാതെ ആ ഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
