महेश्वरः सर्वसुरेश्वराणां मन्त्रैरनेकेखबद्धमाली । मेदोवसारक्तविचर्चिताङ्गस्त्रैलोक्यदाहे प्रणनर्त शम्भुः

maheśvaraḥ sarvasureśvarāṇāṃ mantrairanekekhabaddhamālī | medovasāraktavicarcitāṅgastrailokyadāhe praṇanarta śambhuḥ

മഹേശ്വരനായ ശംഭു ത്രിലോകദാഹത്തിനായി നൃത്തം ചെയ്തു. സർവ്വ സുരേശ്വരന്മാരുടെ മന്ത്രങ്ങളിലെ അനേകം അക്ഷരങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് കെട്ടിയ മാലകൾ ധരിച്ചു, അവന്റെ അവയവങ്ങൾ മേദസ്സ്, വസ, രക്തം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ലേപിതമായിരുന്നു।
