स्वकर्मविहितान्येव दृश्यन्ते यैस्तु मानवाः । ततो जन्म ततो मृत्युः सर्वजन्तुषु भारत
svakarmavihitānyeva dṛśyante yaistu mānavāḥ | tato janma tato mṛtyuḥ sarvajantuṣu bhārata
മനുഷ്യർ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വകർമ്മം വിധിച്ച ഫലങ്ങളേ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. അതിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ ജനനവും അതിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ മരണവും—ഹേ ഭാരത, സർവ്വ ജീവികളിലും।
