तपसा ब्रह्मचर्येण न तां गच्छन्ति सद्गतिम् । शुक्लतीर्थे मृतो जन्तुर्देहत्यागेन यां लभेत्
tapasā brahmacaryeṇa na tāṃ gacchanti sadgatim | śuklatīrthe mṛto janturdehatyāgena yāṃ labhet
തപസ്സും ബ്രഹ്മചര്യവും കൊണ്ടും ആളുകള്ക്ക് ആ സമാന സദ്ഗതി ലഭിക്കില്ല; ശുക്ലതീര്ഥത്തില് ദേഹത്യാഗം ചെയ്ത് മരിക്കുന്ന ജീവന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഗതി അതുല്യമാണ്।
