kāmakrodhau parityajya jagāmāmaraparvatam | tatra baddhvoḍupaṃ gāḍhaṃ kṛṣṇarajjvāvalambitam

കാമവും ക്രോധവും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് അവൻ അമരപർവതത്തിലേക്കു പോയി. അവിടെ കറുത്ത കയറിൽ തൂങ്ങിയ ചെറിയ തോണിയെ ഉറപ്പായി കെട്ടി.
