युधिष्ठिर उवाच । अङ्गिभृतस्य नाशत्वमनङ्गस्य तु मे वद । न श्रुतं न च मे दृष्टं भूतपूर्वं कदाचन
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | aṅgibhṛtasya nāśatvamanaṅgasya tu me vada | na śrutaṃ na ca me dṛṣṭaṃ bhūtapūrvaṃ kadācana
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദേഹധാരിയുടെ നാശം എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു? അനംഗൻ (കാമദേവൻ) എങ്ങനെ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു? ഇത് ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല; മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും ഇങ്ങനെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല।
