Transliteration

kāmena rahitā lokāḥ sasurāsuramānavāḥ | brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ jagmurdevā indrapurogamāḥ

Translation

കാമം അകന്നതോടെ ദേവ-അസുര-മാനവ ലോകങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ക്ഷീണിച്ചു; അപ്പോൾ ഇന്ദ്രൻ മുൻപന്തിയിൽ ദേവന്മാർ ബ്രഹ്മാവിനെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചു।
