युधिष्ठिर उवाच । शुभाशुभं न बन्धूनां जायते केन हेतुना । एकः प्रसूयते जन्तुरेक एव प्रलीयते
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | śubhāśubhaṃ na bandhūnāṃ jāyate kena hetunā | ekaḥ prasūyate jantureka eva pralīyate
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് ഒരാളുടെ ശുഭാശുഭം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് പങ്കാകുന്നില്ല? ജീവി ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു ജനിക്കുന്നു; നിശ്ചയമായും ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു ലയിക്കുന്നു.
