कुर्वाणाः स्वीयकर्माणि मम कृत्यं तु तिष्ठते । देवस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा मुनयो वाक्यमब्रुवन्
kurvāṇāḥ svīyakarmāṇi mama kṛtyaṃ tu tiṣṭhate | devasya vacanaṃ śrutvā munayo vākyamabruvan
“ഞങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തരും സ്വന്തം കര്മ്മങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുണ്യകര്ത്തവ്യം ഇപ്പോഴും ശേഷിക്കുന്നു।” ദേവവചനം കേട്ട് മുനികൾ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു।
