न क्लेशत्वं द्विजे युक्तं न चान्यो जानते फलम् । विद्यादानस्य महतः श्रावितस्य सुतस्य च
na kleśatvaṃ dvije yuktaṃ na cānyo jānate phalam | vidyādānasya mahataḥ śrāvitasya sutasya ca
ഹേ ദ്വിജാ! ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നതിൽ ക്ലേശമോ മടിയോ യുക്തമല്ല; മഹത്തായ വിദ്യാദാനത്തിന്റെയും, ശ്രവണത്തിലൂടെ നന്നായി ശിക്ഷിതനായ പുത്രന്റെയും ഫലം മറ്റാരും യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
