हृष्टपुष्टास्तदा सर्वे नर्मदातीरवासिनः । ऋषयस्ते भयं सर्वे तत्यजुः क्षुत्तृषोद्भवम्
hṛṣṭapuṣṭāstadā sarve narmadātīravāsinaḥ | ṛṣayaste bhayaṃ sarve tatyajuḥ kṣuttṛṣodbhavam
അപ്പോൾ നർമദാതീരവാസികളായ ആ എല്ലാ ഋഷിമാരും ഹൃഷ്ടരും പുഷ്ടരുമായി; ക്ഷുധാ-തൃഷ്ണാജന്യമായ ഭയം അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
