ये स्तोत्रमेतत्सततं पठन्ति स्नात्वा तु तोये खलु नर्मदायाः । अन्ते हि तेषां सरिदुत्तमेयं गतिं विशुद्धामचिराद्ददाति
ye stotrametatsatataṃ paṭhanti snātvā tu toye khalu narmadāyāḥ | ante hi teṣāṃ sariduttameyaṃ gatiṃ viśuddhāmacirāddadāti
നർമദാജലത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ഈ സ്തോത്രം നിരന്തരം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക്, ജീവിതാന്ത്യത്തിൽ ഈ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ നദി അതിവേഗം വിശുദ്ധവും പവിത്രവുമായ ഗതി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു।
