tena mūrchitasarvāṅgaḥ kāmarūpo jagadguruḥ | kāmayāmāsa rudrāṇīṃ divyaṃ varṣaśataṃ kila
Narrator (contextual Purāṇic narrator within Revā Khaṇḍa)
Scene: Śiva, the jagadguru, is overtaken by Kāma’s influence, appearing ‘senseless’ in limbs, absorbed in longing for Rudrāṇī across a vast divine timespan.
Even cosmic events that appear driven by desire are framed in Purāṇas as movements toward a higher dharmic purpose within divine play (līlā).
The broader frame is Revā Khaṇḍa connected to the sanctity of Revā/Narmadā, though this verse itself focuses on the divine narrative rather than a named tīrtha.
None in this verse; it is narrative description setting up later divine actions.
