सर्वे ते ह्युपजीवन्ति हुतं दत्तं शशिस्थितम् । वनस्पतिगते सोमे धनवांश्च वरानने

Transliteration

sarve te hyupajīvanti hutaṃ dattaṃ śaśisthitam | vanaspatigate some dhanavāṃśca varānane

Translation

ഹേ വരാനനേ! അഗ്നിയിൽ അർപ്പിച്ച ഹവിസ്സും ദാനവും—ചന്ദ്രനിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായതായതിനാൽ—അതിന്റെ ആശ്രയത്തിലാണ് എല്ലാ ജീവികളും ജീവിക്കുന്നത്; സോമൻ വൃക്ഷാദികളിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യൻ ധനവാനാകുന്നു.
