tajjalaṃ pītamātraṃ tu tvarayā cātitarṣitaḥ | akāmātsalilaṃ pītvā prakṣālya nayane śubhe

Translation

അത്യന്തം ദാഹിച്ചും തിടുക്കത്തിലും അവൻ ആ ജലം അല്പം മാത്രമേ കുടിച്ചുള്ളൂ. പിന്നെ അറിയാതെ ജലം കുടിച്ച് തന്റെ ശുഭനേത്രങ്ങൾ കഴുകി.
