यस्तत्र स्नाति वै भक्त्या जितक्रोधो जितेन्द्रियः । एकादश्यां सिते पक्षे मधुना स्नापयेच्छिवम्

yastatra snāti vai bhaktyā jitakrodho jitendriyaḥ | ekādaśyāṃ site pakṣe madhunā snāpayecchivam

അവിടെ ഭക്തിയോടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ക്രോധം ജയിക്കുകയും ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, ശുക്ലപക്ഷ ഏകാദശിയിൽ തേൻകൊണ്ട് ശിവനു അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യണം।
