मन्येऽहं धर्मनैपुण्यं त्वयि सूत सदार्चितम् । पुण्यामृतकथावक्ता व्याससशिष्यस्त्वमेव हि
manye'haṃ dharmanaipuṇyaṃ tvayi sūta sadārcitam | puṇyāmṛtakathāvaktā vyāsasaśiṣyastvameva hi
ഹേ സൂതാ! ധർമ്മനൈപുണ്യം നിത്യം നിനക്കുള്ളിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമാണെന്ന് ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു; കാരണം നീ പുണ്യാമൃതസമമായ കഥകളുടെ വക്താവും, സത്യത്തിൽ വ്യാസന്റെ ശിഷ്യനും ആകുന്നു।
