Transliteration

navamaṃ bhagavannāma bhāgadvayavibhūṣitam | tadaṣṭādaśasāhasraṃ procyate granthasaṃkhyayā

Translation

ഒൻപതാമത് ‘ഭാഗവത’ എന്ന പുരാണം; അത് രണ്ടു ഭാഗങ്ങളാൽ വിഭൂഷിതമാണ്. അതിന്റെ ഗ്രന്ഥസംഖ്യ പതിനെട്ടായിരം ശ്ലോകങ്ങളെന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.
