Rishi: Traditionally attributed within the Śukla-Yajurvedic mantra-corpus to Ṛṣi lineages of the corresponding Ṛgvedic source; in ritual usage treated as ‘mantra of the Adhvaryu’ within the Vājasaneyin transmission.

दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुर्म॒तिमा॑स॒वं वि॒श्वदे॑व्यम् । धि॒या भगं॑ मनामहे

devásya savitúḥ matím āsavám viśvádevyam | dhiyā bhágam manāmahe

ഞങ്ങൾ പവിത്രധ്യാനത്തോടെ ദേവ സവിതൃയുടെ മതി—അവന്റെ പ്രേരണയും ഉപദേശവും—സർവ്വദേവമയമായ അതിനെ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു; കൂടാതെ ഭാഗ (ഭഗ) — വിഹിതം വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ — അവനെ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നു.
