नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्याः स॑मिधा॒ने अग्नौ रा॒यस्पोषा॑य बृह॒ते ह॑वामहे । इ॒र॒म्म॒दं बृ॒हदु॑क्थ्यं॒ यज॑त्रं॒ जेता॑रम॒ग्निं पृत॑नासु सास॒हिम्

Transliteration

nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ḥ samidhāné agnáu rāyás-poṣā́ya bṛhaté havāmahe | irám-madáṃ bṛhád-ukthyaṃ yájatraṃ jétāram agníṃ pṛtánāsu sāsahím

Translation

പൃഥിവിയുടെ നാഭിസ്ഥലത്തിൽ അഗ്നി പ്രജ്വലിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ധനവും പോഷണവും വർധിപ്പിക്കാനായി ഞങ്ങൾ മഹാനായ അഗ്നിയെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു—ആഹാര-രസത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നവൻ, മഹത്തായ സ്തുതിക്ക് യോഗ്യൻ, യജ്ഞാർഹൻ, ജയകൻ, യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ ശത്രുക്കളെ കീഴടക്കി ജയിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നി।
