Śiva’s Freedom from Bondage and His Cosmic Support (शिवस्य अबन्धत्वं तथा सर्वाधिष्ठानत्वम्)

स शिवस्सर्वमेवेदमधिष्ठाय स्वशक्तिभिः । अप्रच्युतस्स्वतो भावः स्थितः स्थाणुरतः स्मृतः

sa śivassarvamevedamadhiṣṭhāya svaśaktibhiḥ | apracyutassvato bhāvaḥ sthitaḥ sthāṇurataḥ smṛtaḥ

ആ ശിവൻ തന്റെ സ്വശക്തികളാൽ ഈ സർവ്വവിശ്വത്തെയും അധിഷ്ഠിച്ച് ധരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ സ്വഭാവതഃ അച്യുതനും സ്വയംസിദ്ധനും ആയി തന്റെ സാരഭാവത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; നിത്യസ്ഥിരനായതിനാൽ ‘സ്ഥാണു’ എന്നു സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
