प्रणवविभागः—वेदस्वरूपत्वं लिङ्गे च प्रतिष्ठा

ममार्थेन शिवेनेदं तामसेनाभिधीयते । अथर्वाह तुरायाख्यं तुरीयातीतमेव च
mamārthena śivenedaṃ tāmasenābhidhīyate | atharvāha turāyākhyaṃ turīyātītameva ca
എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായപ്രകാരം താമസസ്വരൂപനായ ശിവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ഈ ഉപദേശം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത് ‘അഥർവാഹ’ എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ‘തുരാ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധം, കൂടാതെ തുരീയത്തെയും അതിക്രമിക്കുന്ന ‘തുരീയാതീത’മാണ്.
