Shiva Form: Rudra
It portrays the ordered presence of divinely empowered companions around a central figure, suggesting that dharma is protected through Shiva’s śakti working via many instruments—outer strength reflecting inner alignment with the Lord.
Though the verse lists warrior-attendants, Shaiva Siddhanta reads such power as dependent on Pati (Shiva). Worship of the Linga centers the devotee in the source of all śakti, from which protection and victory arise.
A practical takeaway is to meditate on Shiva as the inner commander—reciting the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while applying Tripuṇḍra or holding Rudraksha—seeking steadiness and protection of dharma in one’s life.
