jayāvṛtamahāviśva jayānāvṛta kenacit | jayottara samastasya jayātyantaniruttara

Type: stotra
It proclaims Shiva as the ever-unveiled Supreme (Pati): pervading all yet never conditioned by anything, whose sovereignty is the final “victory” that liberates the soul from pasha (bondage).
The Linga is worshipped as the sign of the limitless Lord who pervades the universe; this verse supports that vision—Shiva is present in all forms (saguna manifestation) yet remains unsurpassed and unbound (niruttara, unconditioned).
Meditate on Shiva as “niruttara” while repeating the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplating that the Lord pervades all and removes the coverings of bondage; apply bhasma (tripuṇḍra) as a reminder of victory over impurity.
