Pañcāvaraṇa-mārga Stotra to Yogeśvara Śiva
आस्तामियं फलावाप्तिरस्मिन्संकीर्तिते सति । सार्धमंबिकया देवः श्रुत्यैवं दिवि तिष्ठति
āstāmiyaṃ phalāvāptirasminsaṃkīrtite sati | sārdhamaṃbikayā devaḥ śrutyaivaṃ divi tiṣṭhati
ഈ സ്തോത്രം സംകീർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ ഇതുതന്നെ പ്രതിജ്ഞാത ഫലം—ദേവാധിദേവൻ അംബികയോടുകൂടെ സ്വർഗത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിതനായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; ശ്രുതി ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു।

By praising and reciting the Lord’s glory, the devotee approaches Saguna Śiva (Śiva with attributes, worshipped as Liṅga and as the Divine Couple). The verse emphasizes presence and establishment of the Deity through sound (nāda/śabda), a key mode of Liṅga-bhakti.
Regular recitation/chanting of the hymn as saṅkīrtana—ideally with mental remembrance of Śiva with Ambikā—serves as the practice; it can be paired with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and focused devotion during daily worship or Mahāśivarātri.
