It teaches that spiritual life is not perfected by verbosity in praise alone; what truly matters is āstikya (faith) and the blessing of the sādhus, which ripens devotion and leads the seeker toward Shiva’s grace.
Linga-worship is fulfilled when outer stuti is joined with inner reverence and faith; the verse points from mere speech to lived devotion, through which the auspicious presence of Saguna Shiva is realized in worship.
Keep worship simple and sincere: offer a brief stuti, then do japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and seek the blessings of saints/elders, concluding with a maṅgala-prārthanā (prayer for auspiciousness).
