काम्यकर्मविभागः — Taxonomy of Kāmya (Desire-Motivated) Śaiva Rites

ईशानमुकुटं देवं पुरुषाख्यं पुरातनम् । अघोरहृदयं तद्वद्वामगुह्यं महेश्वरम्

īśānamukuṭaṃ devaṃ puruṣākhyaṃ purātanam | aghorahṛdayaṃ tadvadvāmaguhyaṃ maheśvaram

ഈശാനമാണ് മകുടമായുള്ള ആ ദേവൻ പുരാതന ‘പുരുഷ’നാമധാരി. അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം അഘോരം; വാമ-ഗുഹ്യ രഹസ്യം ‘വാമ’—അവൻ മഹേശ്വരൻ.
