nirmitānuguṇāḥ kāryāḥ puraścaraṇapūrvikāḥ | śivānale ca vihate punassandhānamācaret

Translation

കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ യഥാവിധി ഒരുക്കിയതിനു അനുസരിച്ച് നടത്തണം; അവ പൂരശ്ചരണത്തോടെ മുന്‍കൂട്ടി ആചരിച്ചവയായിരിക്കണം. ശിവാനലമായ (സംസ്കൃത യജ്ഞാഗ്നി) തീ അശാന്തമാകുകയോ അണയുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ വീണ്ടും സന്ധാനം—പുനഃസ്ഥാപനം—ആചരിക്കണം.
