प्रवेश्य मंडले शिष्यमनुष्णीषं च देशिकः । तर्पणाद्यं तु मंत्राणां कुर्यात्पूर्वावसानकम्

praveśya maṃḍale śiṣyamanuṣṇīṣaṃ ca deśikaḥ | tarpaṇādyaṃ tu maṃtrāṇāṃ kuryātpūrvāvasānakam

Translation

ദേശികൻ (ഗുരു) ശിഷ്യനെ—തലമൂടിയില്ലാതെ—മണ്ഡലത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കണം; തുടർന്ന് തർപ്പണം മുതലാക്കി മന്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവ്വാവസാനക (ആദ്യ സമാപന) കർമ്മങ്ങൾ നിർവഹിക്കണം.
