Purification of the Six Adhvans / Sixfold Cosmic Path

नम आद्यैर्यकरांतैः कल्पयेत्कल्पवित्तमः । ईशानं मध्यमे कुंभे पुरुषं पुरतः स्थिते

nama ādyairyakarāṃtaiḥ kalpayetkalpavittamaḥ | īśānaṃ madhyame kuṃbhe puruṣaṃ purataḥ sthite

അപ്പോൾ ക്രമവിന്യാസത്തിൽ നിപുണനായ সাধകൻ ‘ന’ മുതൽ ‘യ’ വരെ ഉള്ള അക്ഷരങ്ങളെ മനസ്സിൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കണം. മദ്ധ്യകുംഭത്തിൽ ഈശാനൻ (ശിവൻ)നെ ധ്യാനിക്കണം; മുന്നിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കുംഭത്തിൽ പുരുഷൻ (പ്രഭുവിന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരക ഭാവം)നെ ചിന്തിക്കണം।
