समयाह्वय-संस्कारः — Rite of ‘Samayāhvaya’ and the Preparatory Layout

सौवर्णं राजतं वापि ताम्रजं मृन्मयं तु वा । गन्धपुष्पाक्षताकीर्णं कुशदूर्वांकुराचितम्

sauvarṇaṃ rājataṃ vāpi tāmrajaṃ mṛnmayaṃ tu vā | gandhapuṣpākṣatākīrṇaṃ kuśadūrvāṃkurācitam

കുംഭം സ്വർണം, വെള്ളി, ചെമ്പ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മണ്ണ്—ഏതായാലും; അതിൽ സുഗന്ധം, പുഷ്പം, അക്ഷതം വിതറി, കുശയും ദൂർവയും മുളകളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കണം।
