ब्राह्मणं क्षत्रियं वैश्यं द्विवर्षं च त्रिवर्षकम् । प्राणद्रव्यप्रदानाद्यैरादेशैश्च समासमैः

brāhmaṇaṃ kṣatriyaṃ vaiśyaṃ dvivarṣaṃ ca trivarṣakam | prāṇadravyapradānādyairādeśaiśca samāsamaiḥ

ഗുരു ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ, ക്ഷത്രിയൻ, വൈശ്യൻ—അതുപോലെ രണ്ട് വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയവനെയും മൂന്ന് വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയവനെയും—ജീവനധാരക ദ്രവ്യദാനം മുതലായ സംക്ഷിപ്ത ആദേശങ്ങളാൽ വിളിക്കണം।
