मन्त्रसिद्ध्यर्थं गुरुपूजा–आज्ञा–पौरश्चर्यविधिः / Guru-Authorization, Offerings, and Puraścaraṇa for Mantra-Siddhi

अपवित्रकरो ऽशुद्धो विलपन्न जपेत्क्वचित् । क्रोधं मदं क्षुतं त्रीणि निष्ठीवनविजृंभणे । दर्शनं च श्वनीचानां वर्जयेज्जपकर्मणि । आचमेत्संभवे तेषां स्मरेद्वा मां त्वया सह

ശരീരത്തിലും ആചാരത്തിലും അശുദ്ധനായവൻ വിലപിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഒരിക്കലും ജപം ചെയ്യരുത്. ജപസമയത്ത് ക്രോധം, മദ്യം/മത്തം, തുമ്മൽ—ഈ മൂന്നും ഒഴിവാക്കണം; തുപ്പലും ആലസ്യവായ്പ്പും (ജംഭനം) ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം. ജപകർമ്മത്തിൽ നായകളുടെയും നീചജനങ്ങളുടെയും ദർശനം/സംഗവും വर्ज്യമാണ്. ഇവ സംഭവിച്ചാൽ ആചമനം ചെയ്ത്, നിന്നോടൊപ്പം (എന്റെ ശക്തിയോടൊപ്പം) എന്നെ സ്മരിച്ചു വീണ്ടും ജപം തുടരണം।
