पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

तदर्धं दिनमेकं वा व्रतसंकल्पनावधि । अग्निमाधाय विधिवद्विरजाहोमकारणात्

tadardhaṃ dinamekaṃ vā vratasaṃkalpanāvadhi | agnimādhāya vidhivadvirajāhomakāraṇāt

Translation

വ്രതസങ്കൽപ്പത്തിന്റെ കാലാവധി അർദ്ധദിനമോ ഒരു ദിനമോ ആകണം. തുടർന്ന് വിധിപ്രകാരം അഗ്നി സ്ഥാപിച്ച് വിരജാ-ഹോമം നടത്തണം; അതാണ് ശുദ്ധിയുടെ (മലമുക്തിയുടെ) കാരണം।
