The Supreme Lord as the Uncaused Cause
yogena tu parā bhaktiḥ prasādastadanaṃtaram | prasādānmucyate jaṃturmuktaḥ śivasamo bhavet

It teaches the Shaiva Siddhanta-style sequence: disciplined yoga matures into supreme bhakti, which culminates in Śiva’s prasāda (grace); liberation is ultimately granted by grace, not by effort alone.
Yoga and devotion are typically anchored in Saguna upāsanā—meditation on Śiva with form, especially the Śiva-liṅga—through which the devotee’s mind becomes pure and receptive to Śiva’s grace that bestows mokṣa.
A practical takeaway is daily Śiva-dhyāna (meditation) and japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—performed with devotion, seeking prasāda as the liberating power.
