कौशिकी-गौरी तथा शार्दूलरूप-निशाचरस्य पूर्वकर्मवर्णनम् | Kauśikī-Gaurī and Brahmā’s account of the tiger-formed niśācara
त्वमेव विविधा शक्तिः भवानामथ वा स्वयम् । अशक्तः कर्मकरणे कर्ता वा किं करिष्यति
tvameva vividhā śaktiḥ bhavānāmatha vā svayam | aśaktaḥ karmakaraṇe kartā vā kiṃ kariṣyati
നീ തന്നെയാണ് നാനാവിധ ശക്തി—സകല ജീവികളുടെ ശക്തിയായും, സ്വയം ശക്തിസ്വരൂപമായും. ആ ശക്തിയില്ലാതെ കർമ്മനിർവഹണത്തിൽ ‘കർത്താവ്’ എന്നു പറയുന്നവൻ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും?
